Singapore Press Club is happy to organise the embassy-media roundtable and dinner event hosted by the Embassy of Denmark Singapore.
This event is convened by the Singapore Press Club with the aim to bring together journalists and communicators in Singapore with diplomats and senior officials from the host embassy.

Ambassador's remarks will focus on Denmark's priorities in the bilateral relations with Singapore and any other economic, cultural and political priorities in the region.

Attendees to present identification card/passport document at the security checkpoint of the Ambassador's Residence to gain access to the event.
Those who made it to the invitation list will receive an email confirmattion before 13 March 2025. Those not confirmed will be placed on the wait-list and extended an invite when there is last minute vacancies due to cancellations.

Fireside Chat
Mr. Jakob Brix Tange is the Ambassador of Denmark to Singapore and Ambassador-designate
to Brunei (non-resident) since August 2024.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, Jakob held the position as Special Representative for
Maritime Security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense in Denmark.
He has held numerous positions for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including as Ambassador for
Trade Policy and Full Member of the EU Trade Policy Committee. Within the ministry, he has
worked with security policy, EU policy and development and has had a role as Private Secretary
to the Foreign Minister. His postings abroad include Kabul as Ambassador of Denmark to
Afghanistan as well as London and Managua.
Outside of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he has worked for the OECD in Paris, he has headed
the Centre for Terror Analysis in the Danish and Security and Intelligence Service and has worked
in private consulting in London and Copenhagen.
Jakob holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Previously, as a reporter for Bloomberg and MinnPost, Wallbank covered Congress, the White House, and campaign politics.
Wallbank is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds an MBA from the University of Illinois.
