The Singapore Press Club is hosting a panel discussion on the upcoming US Presidential Election in partnership with the US Embassy in Singapore and supported by CLA Global TS Holdings.
All eyes on November 5: Panel discussion on the US election
The past few months have been a roller coaster ride in American politics. With over 50 days to go before voters head to the ballot box, will Donald Trump be elected president once more, or will Kamala Harris make history as the first woman president of the US? What other twists might we expect in the coming days? What do developments over the campaign tell us about the future of American politics, and the impact the election and its outcome will have in our part of the world?
Join us for what promises to be a lively discussion with three experts who have been following the election closely: Professors Emily Drew from Davidson College and Elvin Lim from Singapore Management University (SMU), and Steven Okun of APAC advisors. The panel discussion will be moderated by Zakir Hussain, Associate Editor at The Straits Times, SPH Media and a vice-president of the Singapore Press Club.
