Singapore Press Club is happy to organise the embassy-media roundtable and dinner event hosted by the High Commission of Pakistan, Singapore, with the aim to bring together journalists and communicators in Singapore with diplomats and senior officials from the host embassy.

Guest list selection will be prioritised based on Singapore Press Club members and the media first before non-members.

Those not confirmed will be placed on the wait-list and extended an invite when there is last minute vacancies due to cancellations.

Worked at Headquarters as Assistant/Deputy Director (2002 - 2005 & 2008 - 2009) and Director (2009 - 2013 & 2015 - 2017). Worked in Political Divisions (Europe, Iran & Turkey, East Asia Pacific) and Administration.
Served as Director, Foreign Service Academy (2015 -2016). Held diplomatic assignments at Pakistan Missions in Paris (2005 - 2008), Ankara (2012 -2015) and Chicago (2017 - 2020).
Served as Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad since October 2020.
Speaks English and French. Married.

Managing Editor at Bloomberg Singapore
Wallbank, based in Singapore, oversees breaking news across much of Asia and around the world.
He has led Bloomberg's breaking news coverage in Asia hours across some of biggest market-moving moments of the last several years, including the US-China trade war, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Covid-19 pandemic, three Trump-Kim summits and five G-20s. He's a frequent analyst on Bloomberg TV commenting on geopolitical risk and global politics.
Before moving to Asia in 2019, Wallbank ran Bloomberg's Washington breaking news desk, where he managed headline coverage of the Obama and Trump administrations, US elections, and international geopolitical risk. Previously, as a reporter for Bloomberg and MinnPost, Wallbank covered Congress, the White House, and campaign politics.
Wallbank is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds an MBA from the University of Illinois.
